UBQ is Attending the K Show 2022

      11 Aug 2022

Exciting news – UBQ will be attending the K Show 2022 in Düsseldorf, Germany, from the 19th to the 26th of October. K is the worlds biggest trade show, and it is the one we have all been waiting for, three years to be exact!

This particular event is the most relevant trade fair for plastic and rubber, which happens to serve as the mothership when it comes to redefining the industry. The ‘K’ serves as an indication of diversity and unsurpassed innovation density. It is the most prestigious business platform and marketplace for sustainable development, setting a new standard in the industry.

It was memorable to see the level of interest around sustainability and circular manufacturing at K 2019. This year, we are coming back with new developments and we can’t wait to share our positive impact with other industry visionaries. The previous event welcomed an astounding 225,000 visitors and 3,300 companies, all eager to implement more sustainable processes and raw materials. This year, it is expected that these numbers will rise considerably.

The K Show provides a long list of product themes to achieve an impressive amount of engagement between companies and visitors, from new technologies and energy efficient processes to new sustainable alternative materials. The upcoming event is expected to have a colossal demand for personal exchange between various nationalities due to the global pandemic and its effect on a multitude of enterprises, including the plastic and rubber industries.

This exposure allows us to present the UBQ™ material to new corners around the world. UBQ™ is a biobased thermoplastic converted from unsorted, landfill-destined waste, including all organics. As a seamless drop-in material, compatible with today’s standard manufacturing processes and materials, UBQ™ allows manufacturers to easily transition towards sustainable manufacturing and reduce the carbon footprint across their supply chain. The greater the demand for sustainable materials, the more landfills we can empty around the world.

This year, the science campus at the event will highlight research on making the plastics and rubber industries more sustainable for the planet. We are excited to bring an existing solution that can contribute to sustainable development, including how to reduce the carbon footprint without compromising on quality or sustainability.

The K Show aims to provide the ultimate business platform for both investment and information while also shining a light on urgent global challenges, such as sustainability in manufacturing and circularity, in order to shape the future of both the world and international businesses. The K Show is an invaluable experience for all visitors, and we can’t wait to see you there.
