Near Food Contact

The UBQ™ material produced in Bergen op Zoom is a USDA Certified Biobased product, confirming that the majority of its content is derived from renewable, bio-based sources. This certification, issued through the USDA BioPreferred® Program, reflects the ratio of organic matter to mixed plastics in household waste. The label helps consumers make informed decisions by identifying products made from renewable materials.

Food Contact Materials (FCMs) are materials intended to come into direct or indirect contact with food and must meet strict safety requirements under EU law.
