David Pappie

With more than three decades of experience spanning international industry, senior government, and executive and supervisory leadership, David brings extensive expertise in strategy, industrial policy, sustainability, innovation, transformation, and risk management.

David most recently served as Director Strategy/Corporate Affairs at HyCC, a scale-up focused on large-scale green hydrogen production and industrial decarbonization. Previously, David worked at the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs & Climate Policy, serving as Director Top Sectors & Industrial Policy.

Earlier career experience includes senior global leadership roles at Shell, including General Manager Styrene, Vice President Recruitment, and Director Shell Chemicals Europe.
