Steve Ellis

Steve Ellis is the Co-Managing Partner of The Rise Fund, a global impact investing platform focused on creating measurable social and environmental impact. Before joining TPG in 2015, Steve served as the CEO of Asurion, the world’s leading provider of technology protection services. Under his leadership, Asurion grew to generate over $6 billion in revenue. His extensive experience in business management and scaling operations has significantly contributed to his role in driving the Rise Fund’s mission to promote sustainability and social impact through investments.

Steve is a graduate of UC Berkeley and Stanford Business School, where he is a regular guest lecturer. He also serves on the boards of Charles Schwab, Dreambox Learning, EverFi, Greenhouse Software, InStride, LiveKindly, Persefoni, Renassiance and Teachers of Tomorrow.
