UBQ Materials was founded in 2012 by Yehuda Pearl, Jack “Tato” Bigio, and Eran Lev with a bold vision: to turn the world’s waste into a valuable resource.
Through a patented groundbreaking process, the team developed UBQ™, a climate-positive material made from mixed household waste, including organics and hard-to-recycle materials.
Commercialization followed and in 2024, UBQ Materials opened its first full-scale production facility in Bergen op Zoom, the Netherlands.
Today, the original facility in Israel serves as a dedicated R&D center driving innovation in sustainable materials, while manufacturers and brands around the world adopt UBQ™ as part of their solutions to reduce their carbon footprint.
