Jack (Tato) Bigio is the Co-Founder and Chief Growth and Sustainability Officer of UBQ Materials, a global manufacturing company that transforms mixed household waste, including organics and hard-to-recycle materials, into UBQ™, a bio-based thermoplastic composite. His vision led UBQ Materials into a company that is turning waste into a valuable resource, advancing the circular economy, and helping preserve our planet’s natural resources.

Prior to founding UBQ Materials in 2012, Jack co-founded and managed Merhav Renewable Energies (MRE), which was successfully sold in 2008. He also served as President and CEO of Ampal-American Israel Corporation, a company traded on NASDAQ. His extensive experience in international project development, financing, and capital markets has been instrumental in guiding UBQ Materials’ growth and innovation.

Jack’s commitment to sustainability and innovation has been recognized by Meaningful Business, naming him an MB100 Leader in 2020, and Jack continues to drive UBQ Materials’ mission to provide sustainable solutions that reduce waste and promote environmental responsibility.
