The Plastics Industry Association (PLASTICS) is the only organization that is representing the entire plastics supply chain – including one million U.S. employees and thousands of applicable uses. Their mission is to connect members in the industry to advance recycling and environmental sustainability through technological innovations and economic opportunities that have a positive impact. It enables companies to be connected throughout the entire supply chain – from brand owners, recyclers, and equipment manufacturers to mold-makers, material suppliers and processors and converters. Councils, committees and divisions in the association monitor market trends, programs and lead projects that advance the industry’s priorities. This association hosts industry leading events where the largest international plastics-specific trade shows and conference takes place.

UBQ joined the association with the objective to reach industry-leading environmental goals by demonstrating a new recovery opportunity using waste as feedstock and turning it into upcycled material.
