UBQ at GPS + PEPP

      4 Oct 2021

This year, The Global Plastics Summit (GPS) will join forces with the Polyethylene-Polypropylene Chain Global Technology & Business Forum (PEPP), featuring the theme of ‘Future Plastic Markets: Supply Chains and Innovation in Extraordinary Times.’

The GPS + PEPP 2021 event will take place October 25-28, 2021. The virtual event will highlight the global plastics industry’s key and growing role in our society and economy. Unprecedented events in the past year have forced the plastics industry to adapt to the impact of COVID-19, the emergence of startling weather conditions and logistic calamities. As a result, the global supply chain has been severely disrupted, leading to surging prices, strong demand and constrained supply. Advancement towards a circular economy remains a priority for organizations alongside emphasis on adapting to changing market conditions.

At GPS + PEPP 2021, you will hear from major chemical companies and leading organizations as they outline strategies to navigate market disruptions and opportunities while continuing to help build a sustainable future.

Tato Bigio, Co-Founder and CEO of UBQ Materials will be joined by representatives from the company’s global partners, including leading automotive luxury brand Mercedes-Benz, to discuss the topic of ‘Transforming Waste Into a Material Revolution.’

Tato will present UBQ’s vision of a world without waste and discuss how UBQ intends to reach this goal by collaborating with key industry players across industries. Mercedes-Benz was UBQ’s first automotive partner, illustrating to the world how waste can be transformed into a luxury material, while maintaining the highest level of quality, safety and performance.

Tato’s session will be moderated by Anthony Palmer, HIS Markit’s VP of Chemical Consulting, taking place on Tuesday, October 26th at 7:00 am – 7:20 am (CST) / 3:00 pm – 3:20 pm (IST).
