      12 Jul 2019

UBQ has recently accepted the Leadership in Innovation Award at the Re|focus Sustainability & Recycling Summit hosted in Grand Rapids, MI.

Christopher Sveen, Tato Bigio, and Sophie Tuviahu accepted the award, excited to be recognized for UBQ’s bio-based material made of household waste. The Plastics Industry Association recognize and awarded UBQ’s vision for the future: a world where waste is not wasted.

The 2019 Re|focus Summit presented a unique opportunity to connect and exchange ideas with the most influential thought leaders across the plastics supply chain. This included brand owners, processors, engineers, and product developers, all joined together to discover new ways to think about plastic manufacturing and harness innovations. UBQ is excited to be a part of the end-market opportunities that expand the horizons for recycling and sustainability in manufactured plastics.
