UBQ at Rethinking Waste 2020

Rethinking Waste is open for all those interested, or working, in waste management.

      24 Aug 2020

September 22-23, 2020: Rethinking Waste is open for all those interested, or working, in waste management. It is organized over the course of two days to ensure registrants from all over the world will have the opportunity to attend the live events, but have also enabled sessions to be recorded and available for replay.

UBQ is excited to be a part of this year’s virtual expo that will allow attendees to benefit from the almost unlimited reach of the internet. Presented by Waste Management World (WMW) and The International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), topics to be covered include collection and handling, biowaste, recycling, waste-to-energy, green recovery, and closing dumpsites.

As a conduit for the next generation of sustainable products, UBQ looks forward to discussing its role in rethinking waste, including how the company transforms everyday unsorted household waste into a renewable material in support of a circular economy.

We’ll explain how our patented process creates an infinitely renewable resource with ever-expanding applicability. And we’ll talk about UBQ’s recent trial and development partnership with Daimler to explore the use of our climate-positive material in the production of automobile parts.

Waste management is an extremely complex issue but what we do with it in the years to come is key to building a sustainable and healthy environment. Israel-based UBQ envisions a world where waste is redirected away from landfills and finite resources are infinitely reused. Our clean, recyclable, and cost-effective solution can be used as a substitute for plastics, concrete, and wood in the manufacturing of thousands of products.

Garbage as a commodity? Yes. UBQ believes there is untapped potential in trash. Our zero-waste approach is one of the fastest, cheapest, and most effective ways to reduce harmful emissions and mitigate waste pollution.

Join us for a talk on “Where Mercedez Benz and Waste Intersect”, on September 22 at 3:45 p.m CEST, to be given by Tato Bigio, Co-Founder of UBQ Materials and CEO of UBQ Israel.
