News May 30th, 2019

Humanscale, a US-based premier designer of ergonomic office furniture, is participating in the 2019 Triennale di Milano architecture and industrial design exhibition displaying the “UBQ Stool” (designed by Humanscale’s Sergio Silva)  a two-legged seat, that is composed primarily of re-engineered non-recyclable trash converted to UBQ material.

The theme of this year’s exhibition, which is running from March to September 2019, is “Broken Nature: Design Takes on Human Survival”, and as the Architect Magazine puts it explores interventions by designers, scientists, and artists aiming to our relationship with the natural environment. If you find yourself in the area, check out what is sure to be an excellent and thought-provoking exhibition, and see how UBQ Material can be used in practice.
